SMART STAT BASIC provides educators and students with the opportunity to simulate essential clinical tasks, fostering the development of critical thinking skills. The tetherless adult patient simulator, weighing approximately 75 pounds (34 kg), operates via Wi-Fi® technology, offering a portable and durable solution for repeated use. Its intuitive control interface requires no programming knowledge, enabling quick and straightforward operation through user-friendly screens. Built for reliability, the device features rugged construction for durability and low-cost replacement parts that support consistent, ongoing functionality.

The accompanying SMART STAT BASIC app enhances training by allowing healthcare professionals across various disciplines to hone their assessment and decision-making capabilities in a realistic environment. It supports a broad spectrum of scenarios—from basic life support to complex rescue procedures—without any risk to actual patients.

Intended for first responders, EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, combat medics, trainees, and healthcare educators, the application enables users to practice real-world situations when used together with the physical simulator. Please note that operation of the app requires a live connection to a SMART STAT BASIC patient simulator.

The app offers straightforward control over multiple physiological parameters via dropdown menus, simplifying scenario management. Key controllable parameters include, but are not limited to:

• Lung function
• Airway status
• Sounds
• Pulses

Simulations can be programmed to feature timed physiological changes with just a few taps. Educators can customize lists of students, medications, and skill sets for seamless documentation and assessment of critical skills. Additionally, simulation sessions can be recorded, edited, printed, and reviewed via reports accessible on the iPad within the application framework.
